here in the northern district of california where ironically handled domestic violence case in the presidio which isn't the typical jurisdiction matter but more importantly i'm a husband and a father of a daughter and this is important and in light of the current events that have taken place it's important that the two commissions get together to affirm our commitment to combating domestic violence and protecting witnesses and candidly this couldn't be a better time. today i received the san francisco attorney, the magazine from the bar association, and the cover of the magazine is "domestic violence, not a cookie cutter approach" and they interviewed two attorneys and i know both but no prosecution interviewed, no police department involved in the interview, and it's essentially taking us back 10 steps. all of the hard work put in by the da's office and this article i was bothered by it and i think there should be response to the article and i think tonight is the first response and i think we are disturbed and it's like the knob hill gazette for lawyers but this was a bad article. >> than

located on the northern tip of the san fransisco peninsula is one of those parks-the presidio. this three square mile green space was originally established as a fort by spain in 1776; where large gun batteries were built to protect the bay from a naval invasion. presidio was ceased by the us military in 1846 at the onset of the mexican american war and later served as an important us base to the vietnam war. congress ended the military use of the presidio in 1994 and made it part of the golden gate national recreation area. we met up with our guest hiker julie from indianapolis for her first visit to the city by the bay and her first look at this amazing park just minutes from downtown san fransisco. the presidio is also home to this hallowed ground; the first us national cemetary on the west coast. many soilders and sailors who gave their lives overseas in pacific battles rest here, overlooking san fransisco bay. after a solomn stroll we decided to head west along the bay area ridged trail and walked toward the sea cliffs of the presidio. what we're finding is kind of differe

continues to hold steady here would know delays for the southbound ride either on the bridge or along the presidio parkway. >> we are headed back to marin county with this water main break that happened in greenbrae. jackie sissel is live on the same. >> good morning and the water has been turned off for about 5 to 5 1/2 hours. the real work is just beginning. the marin water district is out here digging up the street. over there is where the problem actually occurred. here is video from earlier this morning for about 1,500 gal. a minute of water were pouring out of a 4 in. water main that burst overnight. this is according to the spokesperson for the district. she said it is a for aids cap that has been there since 1952. she's not sure exactly what caused the problem but the good news is the storm drains performed exactly the way they were supposed to. there is no localized flooding but obviously didn't walk the water out of 13 to 14 homes. they will remain without water while the work continues. the big news is to replace the pipe. the sidebar story is you can see the heavy equipment and they ar
